Third-party Amazon seller

We buy the inventory. Then we own the outcome.

Product Movement purchases products outright from manufacturers and distributors, preps and labels them in our own warehouse, ships them into Amazon fulfillment centers, and runs the listings that sell them.

The model

Not an agency. Not a consultant.

Agencies advise. Consultants recommend. Both hand the risk back to you at the end of the engagement.

We take title to the goods. When we buy your product it becomes our inventory and our exposure. We pay for it, we pay Amazon's fees against every sale, and we carry it on our own books.

That changes the incentives in a way a retainer never does. Every decision about a listing, a price, an ad or a replenishment order is a decision about our own money.

You sell to us the way you sell to any other wholesale account, and the marketplace becomes someone else's operating problem.

How it works

Three steps, and the third one never ends.

  1. 01

    We purchase your inventory outright

A straightforward wholesale purchase. No consignment, no revenue share, no monthly retainer. Vendors ship directly to our warehouse.

  2. 02

We prep it and ship it into Amazon

Every unit is received, labeled, packaged to Amazon's requirements and loaded onto freight bound for Amazon fulfillment centers. The work happens under our roof, by our own people.

  3. 03

    We run the catalog

Listings, content, variation families, compliance documentation, replenishment planning and advertising, for as long as we carry the product. This is the part that is a standing job rather than a project.

Capabilities

What we take off your desk

Selling on Amazon at scale is a set of unglamorous, permanent jobs. These are the ones we do.

Catalog and listings

New ASIN creation. Titles, bullets, descriptions, backend keywords and browse node placement. Parent and child variation families built and repaired. Duplicate and suppressed listings cleaned up, stranded inventory recovered, Buy Box problems diagnosed. A+ Content, image sets, infographics and video.

Compliance and documentation

Safety data sheets, hazmat and dangerous goods review, restricted product documentation, listing suppression resolution, reinstatement work and Seller Support case management. Barcode and GTIN administration.

Warehouse and fulfillment

Receiving, prep, labeling, packaging, and LTL freight into Amazon fulfillment centers. Multipack and bundle configurations assembled here that do not exist in a standard wholesale catalog.

Inventory planning

Demand forecasting and replenishment scheduling. Stockout prevention, overstock monitoring, and lead time, seasonal and promotional planning.

Advertising

Sponsored Products campaigns for the catalog we carry, managed in house rather than farmed out. Changes are reviewed by a person before they go live, which is slower than an algorithm and considerably harder to get badly wrong.

Reporting

Point-of-sale reporting back to the manufacturers whose products we carry, on a set weekly cadence, alongside inventory health and product viability reviews.

Inside the operation

The work happens under our roof.

One facility in Grand Junction, Colorado, with the office and the warehouse in the same building. The people planning the catalog can walk out onto the floor and look at the pallet.

Why a third-party partner

The case for selling it to somebody who does this all day

One accountable account

When a known partner holds the inventory, there is a name attached to how your products are represented, priced and packaged on the marketplace, and somebody to call when any of that goes wrong.

Wholesale terms, wholesale simplicity

You get paid on a purchase order. The cost of running the marketplace, the fees, the advertising, the returns, the storage, sits on our side of the line rather than in your P&L.

Nobody has to build the department

Marketplace operations need catalog, creative, compliance, advertising, planning and warehouse capability at once. That is a team, and it is a team that has to show up every week.

Questions

Straight answers

Do you buy the product, or sell it on commission?

We buy it. Product Movement takes title to the inventory. There is no consignment, no revenue share and no monthly retainer to negotiate.

Who pays Amazon's fees?

We do. Once we own the product, the referral fees, fulfillment fees, storage charges and every other cost Amazon assesses against the sale are ours.

Which marketplace do you sell on?

Amazon in the United States is our marketplace. We are not trying to be everywhere at once, and we would rather do one channel properly.

Do you handle listing compliance and documentation?

Yes. Safety data sheets, hazmat and dangerous goods review, restricted product documentation and Seller Support casework are all part of carrying a product, not a separate service line.

What does a brand keep control of?

Everything you would expect to. You set your wholesale terms and your distribution policy. We are a customer who happens to be good at the marketplace.

How do we start a conversation?

Send us a note using the details below and tell us what you make. If your products are a fit we will say so, and if they are not we will tell you that too.
